Second Home Services

Second Home Services are designed to ensure that your home is secure and comfortable. Whether you are away, or here in Coastal Maine, you can feel confident that we will care for and maintain your home as we would our own.

We offer you a custom designed “Peace of Mind Plan” to satisfy your home care and maintenance requirements.

Here is a typical Second Home Care plan:

• Bi monthly visit covering the items below
• Ensure that security systems, smoke detectors and phone lines are serviceable
• Peace of Mind room-by-room walk-through
• Refresh the house including turning on ceiling fans and opening windows
• Check refrigerator, freezer, and wine cooler temps
• Flush toilets, run faucets and showers
• Check air conditioner/heating settings on thermostat(s) and ensure all are in order
• Check all lights and replace bulbs as necessary
• Ensure all pilot lights are operational
• Verify fuel levels and deliveries
• Ensure all doors and windows are locked and secured
• Check all exterior openings and crawl spaces for moisture and insect/rodent entry
• Check vehicles, charge batteries as required
• Check generator and transfer switch to make sure system is functioning properly.
• Water plants as needed and/or check to ensure automatic sprinkler systems are working
• Ensure all gates and out-buildings are locked

We also include:

• Key Holder Services (Alarm Response)
• Receive deliveries when requested
• Severe weather and emergency property check
• Pre arrival house check for owners and guests
• Post departure check for owners and guests
• See our Arrival/Departure Services ( additional charges may apply)
• Other duties as requested by the client

Average Price for Second Home Care Program
$79/month for single homes up to 3000 Sq Ft. Yearly contract.
Call us for a custom quote for condominiums and larger homes.
Clients receive a 5% discount on all other in-house services.
